Emma L. Bradley, 87, of Lachine, passed away December 16, 2021 at MyMichigan Medical Center in Alpena. She was born in Verge, Kentucky to Silas and Estelle (Wade) Tackett on February 5, 1935.  She married Thomas Bradley on March 5, 1954 in Clintwood, Virginia and together they spent 49 years as partners and parents to five children before he preceded her in death on June 5, 2003.  Emma was a bookkeeper as well as a homemaker.  Thomas and she retired in 1987 and moved to Lachine where they owned and operated Paradise Lodge Resort.  They made many friends and memories at Paradise Lodge and enjoyed their time in Lachine tremendously. Emma is survived by her five children: Marjorie Webster of Lachine, Edward (Judy) Bradley of Alpena, David Bradley of Atlanta, Susan (Dave) Sheets of Metamora and Cheri Lynn Bradley of Lachine.  She is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren as well as her siblings, Raymond (Sandy) Tackett of Sunset Beach, North Carolina, Tommie (Alena) Tackett of Robinson Creek, KY, Selby (John) Dorgan of Richmond, KY and Gay (Greg) Thacker of South Bloomfield, OH.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas, daughter in law, Ruth Bradley and great-grandson, Desmond.

A Memorial Service will be held at Greely Baptist Church on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Bruce Rubin officiating. A luncheon will follow. In lieu of flowers, friends may make a donation in Emma's name to Samaritan's Purse, P.O. Box 23000, Boone, NC, 28607.
