Clarence R. Ulch

            Clarence R. Ulch, age 82, of Zephyrhills, FL formerly of Alpena, Michigan passed away on January 2, 2021, in Zephyrhills, FL.

            On February 8, 1938, Clarence was born in Ossineke, Michigan to the late Lee and Bertha (Tolan) Ulch. He married Sharon Belink on September 15, 2006, in North Carolina. He served in the Marine Corp. being discharged in 1963. Clarence worked for the Besser Company for 36 years retiring on March 31, 2000. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling around the United States on his Honda Gold Wing.

            He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Sharon and his five children: John Ulch of Alpena, MI; Vickie (Edward) Kangas of Jacksonville, NC; Jodie Bishop (Fiancé: Mark Whitscell) of Ossineke, MI; Becky (Shawn) West of Poca, West Virginia; Kathy Jo Ulch of Ossineke, MI; one stepdaughter: Randi (Patrick) Coates of Fort Lauderdale, FL; 14 grandchildren: Megan, Holly, Brittany, Joshua, Nathan, Kayla, Jennifer, Kimberly, Stephanie, Tracy, Tori, Felicia, Ben, and Vicki; 19 great-grandchildren; one brother: Darrel (Carol) Ulch of Alpena, MI; one sister: June (Abe) VanVolkenburg of Ossineke, MI; many nieces and nephews.

            Clarence was preceded in death by one daughter: Valerie Jean Ulch; five brothers: Richard, "Ted" Albert, Ralph, Lee Ulch and Ted Howay; three sisters: Joan Larson, June Oliver, and Wilma Ulch.

            Arrangements are being handled through the Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home.

Memorial Visitation will take place from 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home until the 1:00 p.m. Memorial Service with Pastor Joe Collins officiating followed by Full Military Honors as accorded by VFW Post #2496.

            In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Special Olympics in memory of Clarence.
