Darlene A. Muszynski

Darlene A. Muszynski, age 71, passed away on June 27, 2022 after a short battle with cancer in Council Bluffs, IA. With her sister at her side. She was born on Aug. 4, 1950 in Alpena, MI. to the late Theodore and Dorothy (Kline) Muszynski.
Darlene is survived by her sister, Ilene Rhoads of Lewis, IA., brother, Peter Muszynski (Liz Klemens) of Alpena, MI., sister Marianne (Ray) Mellen of Posen, MI., sister, Kathy Muszynski of Alpena, MI., niece, Terra (Brian) Koss, nephews, Dustin Rhoads, Jason Muszynski, Chad (Ashley) Rhoads, Christopher (Janel) Muszynski, Eric (Kristy) Muszynski, great nieces, Alexander Koss, Blake Muszynski, great nephews, Mark Muszynski, Brody Muszynski, Zackary Koss, Riley Rhoads, whom she loved dearly.
Darlene graduated from Catholic Central High School. She also graduated from Alpena Community College with an associate degree. Darlene moved to Miami, FL., residing there 49 years until her recent move to Lewis, IA with her sister Ilene. Darlene attended Broder Fashion College graduating with a degree in modeling and fashion design. She attended Barry University graduating with a business degree.
Darlene worked for various companies as a supervisor. She was a continuous learner and made friends easily. Her career at Delta allowed her to travel extensively abroad and often accompanied by her mother. She loved the beach and sunshine of Miami. Yearly trips home to Mi. to spend time with family and friends were joyful.
A Celebration of Life will be at Diane Wikaryasz residence (4510 Long Rapids Road Alpena, MI.) Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. Invocation and eulogy will be delivered by her uncle John Kline. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial donation to your choice. Karpus Hunter & Ross Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
