Dillon Ray Dietz-Marzicola

            Dillon Ray Dietz Marzicola, age 26, of Alpena passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, with his mama and fiancé by his side after a courageous battle with cancer.

            On November 1, 1992, Dillon was born to Tony Ray Marzicola and Charlotte Dietz in Alpena, Michigan. Dillon loved life, number one: family, along with music, and nature. He was a strong, courageous, loving young man and had a zest for life. Even throughout his fight for life, his only concern was for his family and loved ones. Dillon will be dearly missed.

            He is survived by his son Kayden Ray Marzicola, his fiancé Angelia Bashaw; his father Tony Ray Marzicola; his mother Charlotte Dietz (Vern) Vassallo; two brothers: Michael Keenan and Derek Hanson; four sister: Johanna Peters; Cailey, Koryne and Madison Marzicola; two step-brothers: Vernon Vassallo II and Steven Vassallo, also many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and his wonderful grandparents: Naomi (Steve) Vickery and David (Ellen) Dietz.

            Dillon was preceded in death by his grandmother Sharon Marzicola and grandfather Joseph Pepsi Marzicola.

            Per his wishes Dillon has been taken from the Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home for cremation. Family and friends may gather for a Celebration of Dillon's Life on Sunday, November 18, 2018, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home.
