Eleanor M. Mischley

          Eleanor M. Mischley, age 97, of Alpena passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 28, 2020, at Medilodge-Greenview.

          On February 1, 1923, Eleanor was born to the late Emil and Delia (Kayga) Sauve in Alpena, Michigan. She married Chester Mischley on September 27, 1947, at St. Anne's Catholic Church. He preceded her in death in 1998. Eleanor was a life member of St. Mary Catholic Church of All Saints Parish.

          She is survived by her son Ronald Mischley of Alpena, MI; daughter Mary Allen of Alpena, MI; three grandchildren: Kyle, Cortney and Craig Mischley, and two great-grandchildren: Cora Jones and Freya Connolley.

          Eleanor was preceded in death by her five brothers: Emil, Fritz, Art, Harold and Howard Sauve; one daughter-in-law: Beverly Mischley and son-in-law Theodore Allen.

          Private Family Services were held at the Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home.

          Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery
