George J. Lapierre

George Lapierre, 70, of Presque Isle, Michigan was received into the arms of the

Lord on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 with his beloved wife by his side. George

was born in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania on November 11, 1950 to the late Helen

and Charles Lapierre.

George was an avid naturalist and lover of animals. He loved being outdoors and

embraced the Native American culture through participation in pow-wows and

admiration of their value system and beliefs. George held many occupations

including creating molds for metals, security for Meijer stores and photography.

He greatly valued his relationships with his close friends.

He leaves behind his wife Stephanie, who will always cherish his memory, along

with son, Josh(Tara) Lapierre, granddaughter Claire and in-laws, Harold and June

Siebert. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father, George Spader.

Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Visitation which will be held at

Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home on November 11, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with a Memorial

Service starting at 2:00 p.m.
