Irene Anna Soik

Irene Anna Soik, age 82, of Alpena, passed away June 11, 2022 at her home. Irene was born in Posen, Michigan to Anthony and Martha Soik on August 1, 1939.

As a child Irene overcame a condition which was very trying. Losing the ability as an infant left her life very challenging. Her very loyal caring for family children was her true love. Irene had the opportunity in many different aspects to engage and enjoy life. Thanks to the many people who were there for her.

Irene is survived by a sister, Anita, 2 brothers, John (Phyllis), Bernard (Patricia), 2 sisters in law: Betty and Julie and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 1 sister, Alice, and 5 brothers: Al, Gen, Leonard, Emil, and Tony.

Family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Posen from 10:00 A.M. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. with Fr. Stan Bereda officiating. Interment will follow immediately after the service. Karpus Hunter & Ross Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
