James E. Suszek "Jim"

James E. "Jim" Suszek, 70, of Alpena passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center- Alpena.  He was born in Alpena to the late Agabitan and Helen (Kaszubowski) Suszek.  He married Mary Kalisch on November 22, 1980.

Jim was a very artistic wood worker.  Anything he made was very unique.  Anyone who has something that Jim has made has a special piece of him.  He also enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, spending time with his friends and taking walks with his furry friend- Spot.

Jim is survived by his wife, Mary, two brothers; David (Gladys) Suszek and Richard (Ellen) Suszek; three sisters, Joanna Filipiak, Blanche Jozwiak and Diane (James) Blaski, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by brother in law, Tim Wallace and sister in law, Leona Suszek.  Jim was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Suszek and two sisters; Irene Wallace and Sally Zdybel.

Visitation will be at All Saints Catholic Church starting at 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 19.  Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Tyler Bischoff officiating.  Condolences may be made for the family at www.karpushuntercares.com
