Judith A. Vansipe

           Judith A. VanSipe, age 76, of Lachine, Michigan passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020, at Mid-Michigan Medical Center of Alpena.

            On July 3, 1944, Judith was born to the late Richard H. and Norma L. (LeTourneau) Tovey in Alpena, Michigan. She married Wayne R. VanSipe on July 14, 1962, and had 54 years together before he passed away on May 4, 2016. Judith worked as a cook for 20 years at Philip Wright Collins Air Base in Alpena, MI. She enjoyed spending her time quilting and was a loving mother and wife.

            She is survived by her daughter Debra L. VanSipe of Posen, MI; one brothers: Donald Tovey of Alpena, MI; three sisters: Patricia Glomski and Carol (Daryl) Ulch both of Alpena, MI; Janet (John) Roy of Ridge Manor, FL, along with several nieces and nephews.

            She was preceded in death by four brothers: Richard, Robert, Gerald, and Charles "Otto" Tovey and one sister: Marion Berkowski.

            Per her wishes she has been taken from the Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home for cremation and a Private Family Memorial will be held at a later date.
