It is with deep sadness to announce the passing away of Kathryn Kaiser, age 64, on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at home in Orlando Florida.
Kathy was born to Thomas and Germaine (Bronikowski) Kaiser on November 26, 1955. She graduated from Alpena High School in 1973. She attended Alpena Community College and Aquinas College in Grand Rapids. Kathy taught at St. Francis Catholic School in Traverse City, Michigan for one year before moving to Florida. For the next 40 years, she taught children at St. John Vianney and then for the Orange County Public School System. Words cannot express the positive and profound influence Kathy had on her students, their parents and her colleagues. Kathy enjoyed life and liked to travel. She had been to Europe and Hawaii and would annually go on a cruise. Kathy never met a stranger. She was an animal lover and a friend to all dogs.
Kathy is survived by her parents: Thomas and his wife Joan, of New Port Richey, Florida and Germaine of Alpena. She is survived by her two brothers Thomas (LeeAnn) Kaiser Atlanta, MI and William Kaiser of Alpena, MI; her two nieces Elizabeth and husband Kyle of Savannah, GA and Jessica of Alpena, MI; her aunt Phyllis Wyman of Alpena, MI; aunt and uncle Joseph and Ruth Keller of Lakeland, FL as well as several cousins.
Family and friends will gather for memorial visitation at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home on Saturday, July 25, 2020, from 12 pm until Memorial Service begins at 2 pm with Fr. James Fitzpatrick officiating at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home.
