Kenneth 'Kenny' Alan Northrup

Kenneth "Kenny" Alan Northrup, age 35, of Alpena, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 17,2017, at the U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Kenneth was born on July 2, 1981 in Alpena, Michigan to Charles and Rita (Fenstermaker) Northrup. He graduated from Alpena High School in 2000. On July 23, 2011 he married Heather Nickell in Tawas, Michigan. He worked as a truck driver for 6 years for Elmers. Kenny enjoyed spending his time with his family, fishing, hunting, and camping.
He is survived by his loving wife of 6 years, Heather and their two beautiful children Paige and Kenny. His mother Rita Northrup, brothers Eugene (Terri) Northrup, Jim (Jackie) Northrup, Carl (Beth) Schleben and Floyd (Ashley) Nickell, his sisters Christine Losinski, Cindy Schleben, Shandra (Beaver) Currie mother-in-law Bonnie Ranger, father-in-law Darrell Nickell, his grandfather Leo Fenstermaker, several Aunts, Uncles, nieces, and nephews. A special friend of the family Adam Dorr.
Kenny was preceded in death by his father Charles Northrup and his grandparents Bethel Stone, Ruth Northrup, and Eugene Northrup.
Family and friends will gather for Memorial visitation at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home on Sunday, January 22, 2017, from 12 noon until the Memorial Service begins at 4 pm with Rev. Joseph Collins officiating.
