Mary Jo Clewley

Mary Jo Clewley, age 75, of Alpena passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center of Alpena.
Mary Jo was born on June 10, 1941 to the late Raymond and Aurore (Fontaine) Hunter in Alpena, Michigan. She was employed as a section manager for Midway-Giantway retail stores for several years and later as a caregiver for Companionate Care until the fall this year.
She is survived by her son Duane Olson of Anchorage, AK; her grandchildren Jerry L. Olson and Nicole Gilman; her two brothers Dick (Joan) Hunter of Alpena; Joseph (Peggy) Hunter of Metairie, LA; her sister Evelyn (George) Musser of Woodland Hills, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandson Duane T. and her three brothers James, Francis, and Alex Hunter.
Family and friends will gather for visitation on Friday, December 23, 2016, from 12 noon until the 7 pm Funeral Service begins at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Fr. James Fitzpatrick officiating.
