Michelle Donajkowski, age 75, of Alpena, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021, at Mid-Michigan Medical Center after a long battle with Cancer.
On June 21, 1945, Michelle was born to Harold and Betty (Gougeon) Michaud in Alpena, Michigan. She married Raymond A. Donajkowski on March 26, 1965, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and was blessed with 55 years of marriage before Ray passed away on November 9, 2020. She was a cook for St. Mary Catholic School for several years. Michelle was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and enjoyed being a Busha; spending quality time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother Betty Aube of Alpena, MI; six children: Lisa Donajkowski of Ypsilanti, MI; Patti (Wesley) Ranger of Alpena, MI; Amy (David) Smith of Champion, MI; Anthony (Auston) Donajkowski-Lopez of Chicago, Il; Joseph (Heather) Donajkowski of Jefferson City, Tenn.; and Edward Donajkowski of Alpena, MI; three grandchildren: Wyatt James Ranger, Noel and Gabriel Donajkowski; one brother: Craig (Renee) Michaud of Ishpeming, MI; two sisters: Marcia (Roger) Sanders of Midland and Melinda Brooker of Alpena, MI; along with several nieces and nephews.
Michelle was preceded in death by her father Harold Michaud.
Family and friends will gather for Visitation on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a Parish Prayer begining at 7:30 PM. Visitation will continue on Friday, April 9, 2021, at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home from 10:00 am until the Funeral Service begins at 11:00 am with Fr. Charles Donajkowski officiating.
Inurnment: Holy Cross Cemetery
