Patrick Michael Malaney

June 2, 1967 — December 14, 2021

Patrick Michael Malaney, 54, passed away December 14, 2021 at MyMichigan Medical Center in Alpena, surrounded by his family after a fierce three week battle with COVID.

Pat is survived by his beloved mother, Kay, his fiancée, Delynn Burns, his sons; CJ (Jeanette LaFleche) Malaney, Michael (Nicole) Malaney and Austin (fiancée Abby Dault) Malaney.  Pat also leaves behind three beautiful grandchildren; Maddie, Levi and Sophia who were just learning to call him "PaPa".  Pat was proceeded in death by his father, Terry Malaney, on March 25, 2004.

Pat was a valued employee at DPI for over 14 years, as well as a respected mixer truck drvier for L&S Concrete.  He never let anyone down, regardless if you were his employer or his friend, you could always count on Pat. His jack of all trades was selflessly shared with all he knew.

Pat left behind a legacy of love which is seen in the eyes of the step-children he helped raise, heard through the famous stories of "Mag's" teenage shenanigans and felt through the heart of every single person who had the privilege to call him "friend".

Memorial Visitation will be held starting at noon on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish.  A Memorial Mass will begin at 1:00 p.m. In addition, a celebration of Pat's life will be held in June, 2022.  Final resting place will be Holy Cross Cemetery in Alpena. Memorials in memory of Pat may be made to the Salvation Army, 722 N. Second, Alpena or St. Vincent De Paul, 2635 US 23, Alpena.
