Pauline M Brousseau

Pauline M. Brousseau, age 90, of Ossineke passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 12, 2016 surrounded by her family at home.
Pauline was born on November 15, 1925 to the late Anthime and Anna (Levesque) Laplante in Detroit, MI. She took an interest in baking and cooking at 11 years old. She was a Den Mother for several years, involved in the PTA as well as a volunteer at the Plymouth State Home. Her talents were making wedding cakes for family and friends, sewing, and gardening. She married Royal Brousseau on October 31, 1947. They raised their 4 boys in Garden City, MI. Later moving the family farm from Plymouth to Ossineke in 1975. Pauline and Royal enjoyed their trips to Canada and Alaska to hunt and fish. They were married for 61 years. Pauline enjoyed her days on the farm being a homemaker for her husband, four boys, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her greatest pleasure in life was preparing family dinners from scratch and made with love for her loved ones.
Pauline is survived by her two sons John LeSage of Westland, MI; Rod (Cindy) Gross of Dearborn, MI; her eight grandchildren Jason Brousseau, Ron and Bryan Machus, and Dennis Jr. LeSage, Kambria (Ken) McLean, Leslie, Jesse (Kristen), and Brenden (Trista) LeSage , over 20 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Royal, 3 sons Ron, Dennis and Dale. As well as her sisters Ruth, Theresa, and Eva; her brothers George and Jerry.
Family and friends will gather for visitation at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 2pm until 8pm with a Parish Prayer Service at 7pm. Visitation will continue at St. Catherine Catholic Church on Nicholson Hill Road, on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 10 am until the 11am Mass of Christian Burial begins with Rev. Fr. Robert Bissot officiating.
Interment: St. Catherine Catholic Cemetery
Memorials: Hospice of Michigan, Negwegon State Park
