Phyllis G. Wyman

Phyllis G. Wyman age 91, of Alpena passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021, at Mid-Michigan Medical Center of Alpena.
On September 28, 1929, Phyllis was born in Alpena, Michigan to the late Joseph and Sally (Lewandowski) Bronikowski. She married Edward W. Wyman on August 8, 1953, at St. Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Chester Pilarski officiating. They were blessed with 47 years of marriage before Edward preceded her in death on September 14, 2000. Phyllis was local seamstress who owned and operated the Wyman Bridal Shop for many years. She was a life member of St. Mary Catholic Church and volunteered at many events. Phyllis enjoyed working at Bingo Night and especially loved spending time with her four grandchildren.
She is survived by three sons: Paul Wyman and Kenneth (Wendy Laney) Wyman both of Alpena, MI; Mark (Becky Trelfa) Wyman of Posen, MI; four grandchildren Troy, Eric, Sara and Kaden; and six great-grandchildren; two sisters: Germaine Kaiser of Alpena, MI and Ruth (Joseph) Keller of Lakeland, FL along with several nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her infant sister: Clarissa; one niece: Kathryn Kaiser and one daughter-in-law: Sherry Wyman.
Family and friends will gather for visitation on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home from 11:00 am until the Funeral Service begins at 1:00 pm with Fr. James Fitzpatrick officiating at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home.
Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery
In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to All Saints School or Hospice of Michigan in memory of Phyllis.
