Randy Lee Stepanski

Randy Lee Stepanski, 67, of Alpena, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 27, 2022. He was a kind, loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, step-brother and friend whom will be deeply missed. He was born on May 25, 1955 to the late Leo and Joanna (Pilarski) in Alpena, Michigan. On June 1, 1974 Randy married the love of his life, Diana Couillard, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church.
There were many things that Randy enjoyed throughout his life such as his gift of woodworking, hunting, maintaining his 3 camps and just being outdoors in general. What probably brought him the greatest joy though was watching his grandkids play sports and spending time with his family. Randy was by definition a people person and could make friends wherever he went.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Diana, son, Mike (Mary) Stepanski, four grandchildren, Owen, Isabelle, Collin and Camren a step-brother, John (Gail) Gregg and their son Ryan, as well as nephews. Jim (Monica Bedient) and Donny Henski. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister DeLynn Brown.
A Celebration of Randy’s life will take place at Karpus Hunter & Ross Funeral Home on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial contribution to Alpena Huron Shore Little League. Online condolences may be registered at www.karpushuntercares.com
