Shirley J. Tibor

Shirley J. Tibor, age 85, of Ossineke, Michigan passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019, at Home.
On March 5, 1934, Shirley was born in Pinnebog, Michigan to the late Leo and Bernice (Champage) Bushey. She married Valent Tibor on June 18, 1955, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Black River, Michigan. "Val" preceded her in death after 50 years of marriage on August 31, 2005. Shirley was a waitress for several years at the Lost Lake Woods Club and the Old Look Out Inn. She was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church, former member of the Ossineke Eagles and a huge Detroit Tiger's Fan. Shirley was a great mom, sister, aunt, and friend, who had a great personality; she was a loving and giving person with a caring heart. Shirley enjoyed going to Sunday Mass, and putting jigsaw puzzles together but, most of all spending time with family.
She is survived by one daughter Annette (Dave) LaCross of Alpena, MI; four grandchildren: Marlayna Miller, Jessica Freeland, Angela Freeland, and Joe Freeland, 4 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Michael Bushey of FL and Dennis (Tracy) Bushey of Ossineke, MI; along with many nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by two daughters: Bernice Freeland and Denise Tibor; three sisters: Mary McIlhargie, Elaine Zielaskowski, and Patricia Papin; eight brothers: Roy "Joe", Russel, Edward "Mel", John, Pete, Alex, Gerry, and Donald Bushey.
Family and friends will gather for visitation at St. Catherine Catholic Church on Friday, October 25, 2019, from 11 am until the Memorial Service begins at
12 pm with Fr. Bob Bissot officiating.
Inurnment: St. Catherine Church Cemetery
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to friend's choice in memory of Shirley.
