Steven L. Gauthier

            Steven L. Gauthier, age 57, of Ossineke, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 30, 2019, at Medilodge of Alpena.

            On August 15, 1961, Steven was born to William and Betty (Hanner) Gauthier in Alpena, Michigan. He was a Jack of All Trades, fun and loving kind of guy who enjoyed working in the woods.

            He is survived by his long time companion: Barbara May; his father William "Bill' Gauthier of Ossineke, MI; two daughters: Crystal and Stephanie; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother: Wayne Gauthier of Alpena, MI; three sisters: Beverly (Pat) Bays of Ossineke, MI; Bonnie Carriveau of Alpena, MI; and Elizabeth (Lee) Cobleigh of Genesee County, MI along with several nieces and nephews.

            Steve was preceded in death by his mother Betty J. (Hanner) Gauthier, one sister: Peggy L. Gauthier, and one brother William John Gauthier.

            Per his wishes Steven has been taken from Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home for cremation. A Grave Side Committal Service will be held at Sanborn Township Cemetery on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at 10:30 am with Fr. James Fitzpatrick officiating.

            Interment: Sanborn Township Cemetery

            In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of friend's choice in memory of Steven.
