Thomas Leo Hollenback

January 27, 1932 — January 10, 2023

Dear Tom,

(Thomas Leo Hollenback, 90, of Alpena), though we were not ready for you to leave this earth on January 10, 2023, we lived a long, blessed life together. You were a kind, caring, and courageous man and we will miss you dearly. Throughout your life you worked very hard and never gave up even when it seemed difficult. You were extremely proud when you become an Electrical Apprentice and later becoming a journeyman in 1956. When your employment took you to many different places throughout the United States, and even out of the country, you cherished every minute you were home. We loved and adored you with all of our hearts and thank you for all of your hard work. Though you leave us behind, we know you're in a better place with the Lord and suffering no more. Thank you for 38 years of being in love and taking care of me. Love, Judy.

Tom is survived by his wife Judy (Tafelski), three children, James, John, and Janet, and a stepdaughter Tammy (Greg) Werth, he was preceded in death by a son, Donnie Hollenback, stepson, Jon McMillan, a sister Donna Dick, and a brother, Robert Hollenback.

Per Tom’s wishes, cremation and Mass of Christian Burial already took place at St. John Catholic Church of All Saints Parish with Fr. James Siler as celebrant. Inurnment was at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to Hospice of Michigan and Karpus Hunter & Ross Funeral Home for their wonderful care and compassion through this difficult time.
