Vickie Lynn Umphrey

Vickie Lynn Umphrey, age 66, of Alpena, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020, at home.

On August 18, 1954, Vickie was born to Sherwood and Azelia (Johnson) Boshaw in Port Huron, Michigan. She was a cook at several restaurants such as Lost Lake Woods, and Shreeves Family Restaurant.

She is survived by her fiancé Bob Dion; five children: Debra (Ron Sweet) Senchuk of Alpena, MI; Loretta (Chuck Ohlrich) Umphrey of Lachine, MI; Sarah (Nathan) Worth of Alpena, MI; James Dion of Alpena, MI and Allison Dion of Saginaw, MI; four grandchildren: Shilah, Heather, April, and Nicole, one great-grandson: Brandon; five brothers: Sam Catanzaro, Dan Catanzaro, Ron Boshaw, Joe Houle, and Mike Houle.

Vickie was preceded in death by one sister Debra Lindsay.

Per her wishes, she has been taken to Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home for cremation.
