Wayne Allen Schaedig

Wayne Allen Schaedig, age 55, of Alpena passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2020, at home.
On December 14, 1964, Wayne was born to Denny and Carol (Elowsky) Schaedig in Alpena, Michigan. He graduated from Alpena High School in 1983. Wayne worked for Besser Company from March of 1998 until 2007 and later Besser-Baker Company from 2017 until 2018 as a skilled welder, before retiring due to ill health. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Wayne enjoyed riding his Harley with his best friend Eric Urso. He was a marvelous morel picker and also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Wayne enjoyed many years hunting at the Schaedig Boys Camp in Hawks with his brothers, cousins, and father.
He is survived by his mother Carol Schaedig; one daughter Shelby Schaedig; two sons: Spencer and Matthew Schaedig; two brothers: Glenn and Mark Schaedig; and one niece Nicole.
Wayne was preceded in death by his father Denny Schaedig and brother Dave Schaedig.
Family and friends will gather for visitation on Monday, June 15, 2020, at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home from 4:30 pm until the Memorial Service begins at 5:30 pm with Rev. Joshua Schultz officiating at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Hunter's Harvest in memory of Wayne.
